New QND volleyball coach a familiar name

Rich Meyer, who had great success at Camp Point Central (573-249) for over two decades, has been named the new head volleyball coach at QND. Meyer, who spent 24 seasons at CP-C, also coached 2 years at Barry Western, and spent the past five seasons at Culver-Stockton College.

Ironically, former QND coach Karen Kemner replaced Meyer at CS-C after he resigned following last season. Meyer will have a number of returning players this fall at Notre Dame, and has an outstanding group of players currently at the 7th & 8th grade level who will make the jump to his program in the next year or two.

Will be interesting to see how Karen does at Culver, and Rich does at QND.
