Final from Barry. Don't know any details other then final score and that WH held Western to just four points in the final quarter. WH goes into the Macomb tournament with a 7-1 record.

Well Viking, it wasn't a great offensive game from either squad. Western lead 6-2 after the first quarter. WH finally started hitting some shots in the second quarter to take a 7 point lead at the half. Really, nobody stood out offensively for WH. Cole Ruble had 16 points for Western and 9 rebounds as well. WH shot 4-19 (or close to that) from 3pt range, and only took 35 shots in the game. Good defense by the Titans which helped out in the off scoring night.

Yeah, must have been an offensive struggle since it was 43-30. WH has phases like this tonight. They will only score 2 or 4 points in a quarter then respond with a big second or third quarter. I like the defense they are playing right now and 4-19 from three is not very good. Do you happen to know who WH's leading scorer was? With the win, thats 7 in a row for the Titans going into the Macomb tournament.

I had the North Greene win over Griggsville Perry in OT tonight at the Nick, 65-53 after ending 51-51 in regulation. Mountain with 22 for GP and the 6' 7" transfer with 15 for NG. NG draws Pittsfield at Voshall Saturday at 8PM

Final from the Rumble at JWCC, Pittsfield girls defeat Highland 38-31. The game was tied for quite a while at 25-25 before a couple of forced turnovers and layups put the lady Saukees ahead.

Good game, Highland pressed a lot. Photo thread coming at some point in time.

In JV action, QND destroyed Pittsfield, I don't remember the score but it was a lot...

A little bit more about the Pittsfield-Highland game, the Highland girls pressed the whole game... didn't cause a lot of turnovers (a couple of intercepted passes and one 10 second count) but it slowed down the game a lot. Offensively, Pittsfield kept them pretty well stuffed, but it was within 5 points all game long... until the very end.
