I'm curious why the timeout period on logins is so short. Several times I've tried to reply to messages only to find I've timed out before I can hit the button to "post". Is there any way you can lengthen that?

Is anybody else having this problem? I have never had it myself.

all the time, I have just been copy and pasting as backup, but usually when I re-log in it takes me back to where I was.

While I don't post much, I have my computer set to keep me logged in and it seems to work like a charm. I never have to log in.

OK, I don't know exactly what is going on with this... can you answer the following questions:
Have you clicked the button to keep you logged in?
Also, what browser and OS are you using. I will try to do some research, I have never seen this problem and this is the first I have heard of it. I do pay for support, though, so we can get it worked out.

I use IE at work and Firefox at home. I haven't clicked on the "keep me logged in" box because I'm a little paranoid. I'll try that at home and see if it makes a difference. I know cookies can be useful but they can be little agents of evil. too. I don't do anything different on the PJ Star board but the timeout is a lot longer. Thanks for checking into this.
