Brenda Linder, a sports and portraits photographer from Green Castle, MO, shot some Kirksville Tiger wrestling at the 19th Annual Tiger Classic Wrestling Meet, held December 12.
The Tigers won the tournament the previous year, and are the defending 2009 Class 2 Sate Wrestling MSHSAA State Champs. This year, the Tigers finished second in the Classic to Kearney. Kearney had 304 points, besting Kirksville's 284.5 in the team race. Nixa was third and Brookfield took fourth.
The Tigers are in the black uniforms with orange and white trim:
