Marion County Girls Take Home Third Place

Marion County Lady Mustangs defeated Naylor in the third place game of the Class 1 Missouri State Tournament on March 19 at Columbia, 52-48.

Jessica Redd had 29 points and fouled out. In the last minute of the game, Naylor hit a three coming within two points. Naylor got possession again and took another three point (air ball) shot - but sounded like they could have had an easy layup to tie the game. Then Naylor fouled MC, and MC nailed these two free throws putting them out of Naylor's reach.
