The Midgets played a very good Sturgeon team hard tonight but fell a bit short at Moberly.
I was at the game (will have MANY pix), and Putnam had the measure of Sturgeon the first half, getting the Bulldogs frustrated. The score was 18-18 with a couple minutes to go when Mallette had to sit with two fouls, and Sturgeon was able to pick up six quick points and never looked back in the game.
Final score was 50-39.
