My name is Ken, I like in Edina in Knox County Missouri.

I am a graduate of Pittsfield High School in Pittsfield, Illinois, and I am a fan of the Pittsfield Saukees and Knox County Eagles. Thank goodness they never play each other, I think my head would explode!

If you have been to a Knox County game over the last 25 years, you may well have seen me on the sideline taking pictures. I was the editor of The Edina Sentinel for 8 years back in the 1980's and early 1990's and have taken pictures for the paper off and on since I left.

Enjoy your time here at tristatefans.com, and welcome.

My name is Rich. I was born and raised in Carthage and have been back here since '95 after a 20 year stint in the Air Force. '95 was a good year to move back to Carthage, the year of the first trip to state. I'm glad the Chargers chose blue as one of their colors...I would have had to change my screen name if they didn't! Thanks for the new venue to talk sports.

Kevin here. Graduated from Beardstown and remain a Beardstown Tiger fan, but I support any team from the area with a few exceptions which will remain nameless. :) I'll mainly be on here during football season because I really don't care about baseball or basketball. I'm looking forward to spending some time talking sports here!

My name is Derrick, I'm a 2001 graduate of Warsaw High School and attended WIU. I'm a big West Hancock Titan Fan and can be seen at many boys and girls basketball contests supporting the Titans. I will also be one of the moderators on this site. I'm looking forward to trying to make this site as successful and insightful as the KHQA boards were in the past. I'm glad all of us tristate sports fans have been given another avenue to discuss the things we love and hope this site works out well and I'm happy to be apart of it!!

My name is Casey and I am a 1998 graduate of Warsaw High School, 2002 graduate of Western Illinois University, and currently employed by the great (hahahahahaha, I can't stop laughing) State of Illinois Department of Insurance. I played three sports in high school (basketball, football, baseball) and was actually fortunate to play on a championship team for Warsaw in 1997 (lots of good memories) and then get beat my senior year by a state championship team in the regionals (Nauvoo). I am a big supporter of the alma mater (or co-op now, eventual consolidation) and a huge fan of high school football and basketball (both boys and girls). I reside in Hamilton with my wife and two children. Can't wait to talk sports will everyone on the boards. Sure glad this came since the KHQA boards went down.

My name is Trent. I am a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School, Quincy, Il. Of course, I'm a fan of the QND Raiders. But I'm a prep sport fanatic. I love the passion and pride that comes with high school athletics. Huge fan of bball and football. Can't wait to talk high school sports with all of you in the near future.

P.s. Thanks for the new board! I was a little upset Khqa dissolved theirs. Although i'm glad to see that forum go for obvious reasons.

This is Angle (Ryan B)....Same guy that was a regular poster on KHQA. I was pleased to receive the email from the Moderator of this forum, as I was pondering starting up my own website with a forum of some sort due to the lack of one now. I still hope that KHQA has success with their live chat forum but I understand why they needed to make the change. I am a 2006 grad from QND, love all sports, local and national, and currently attend Quincy University.

Hi thanks for the great board here to chat sports. Been reading it a lot and finally got talked into joining. Grad of CBHS and WIU. Supporter of QND and QHS. But attend many local schools events to both show my love for area sports and promote my business as being involved in area schools. I may offer an opinion or 2 that you disagree with but I am a big boy and can take the heat if you disagree.. just like to hear from you as there are more than 2 sides to every story. Retired from Quincy PD but work more now than i ever did.
