I don't know what the other schools have but I would have thought the WH and CSE game would have been a possible championship game.

South Fulton on the other side of the bracket is pretty good this year. I think they have maybe one loss and have been a good team or two already. I am assuming they will back it out of the bottom of the bracket and have a decent shot at beating whoever comes from the top.

South Fulton has already beat 1A state ranked Knoxville this season.

So who plays tonight? WH vs CSE and P-Hill vs Western?

I believe you are right. Either I mixed up the schedule or they changed things around because I thought the game 3 and game 4 winners and losers played on back to back nights. But, I have received confirmation that West Hancock is playing tonight, so I assume the losers side of games 1 and 2 is playing tonight as well with the winners and losers of games 3 and 4 playing tomorrow.

West Hancock defeats Central/Southeastern tonight by a score of 65-30. Marley Hall led the Titans with 23 points. West Hancock moves into the championship and CSE will play for 3rd.

This score kind of surprised me given the fact that CSE was a 1 loss team and the only loss was to state ranked West Central by 2 points.

In the losers bracket last night, Pleasant Hill defeated Western by a score of 28-27.

In losers bracket action tonight Unity defeated Brown County by a score of 48 to 36.

Unity advance to the 5th place game tomorrow night against Pleasant Hill.

Brown County drops to the 7th place game tomorrow night against Western.

I believe both games are at the middle school gym.

The championship match was a pretty intense game that had somewhat of a playoff feel (except for lack of a crowd). West Hancock came out of the gates a little slow and allowed South Fulton to dictate tempo. South Fulton lulled West Hancock into playing their slow down style and then South Fulton would patiently wait until the West Hancock defense broke down to either get fouled driving to the basket or be fouled on the perimeter. South Fulton had leads of 5 points a couple of different times but West Hancock hit some key three pointers to get them back into the game. South Fulton took a 1 point lead into halftime and were playing pretty well. West Hancock was playing decent but weren't getting much done offensively as South Fulton really packed their defense around Marley Hall forcing others to take shots (some good, some not so good). West Hancock came out of the break with a better offensive mindset and then things got a little chippy. The referees warned a South Fulton fan about something and the referees were getting quite aggitated. A couple of minutes later the South Fulton bench got called for a technical and things were going downhill somewhat for South Fulton after that. West Hancock built a lead as large as 15 points as Marley Hall began to take over and the Titans were able to get some offensive rebounds and easy shots around the basket. Good games between both clubs as West Hancock improves to 6-1 and South Fulton falls to 9-2.

Marley Hall led the Titans with 21 points (14 in second half) and Carly Beebe led South Fulton with 18 (12 in first half).

Last year, they played South Fulton in the semi-final round and won 51-43 and then beat Central/Southeastern in the championship 41-10.
