Final @ Hamilton

These two teams met before Christmas in the Unity tournament championship where WH only won 50-37. Tonight, the West Hancock defense was the best I have seen for quite some time. I believe the Lady Titans held South Fulton to 2 points in the first quarter and I believe the score was 61-18 after 3 quarters. West Hancock starters were out for the 4th quarter and South Fulton could not muster anything. Carley Beebe and the point guard for South Fulton were shut down. Marley Hall had 27 points in 3 quarters and WH got contributions from everyone. After seeing this performance tonight, it makes you wonder how this team can go through those horrid offense funks. Next up is Illini West at Warsaw on thursday night, after regional seeding.

Actually titanfan, I believe Marley had 2 pts the 1st quarter, 15 in the 2nd and 10 in the 3rd. So basically all her scoring was done in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. In the first quarter SF was trying to shut her down and last night her teammates picked up the slack. When Jackie Bunn hit that 3 pointer early in the 1st I had a very good feeling!
