Any word on all tournament team from Lady Panter Classic? Heard Marley Hall was Offensive MVP, a QND player was Defensive MVP, and Dawn March of CSE got the hustle award. It seems like every year someone from CSE gets the hustle award, not sure why.

A boys score that may be of interest to local fans.
Peoria Manual 74
Canton 66
Final - Overtime
Looks like the game was at Canton but how good does this have to make 2A teams feel that Canton can hang with the beast.

Makes it even more interesting because these two will be in the same regional as well.

Pittsfield lost to Jerseyville 52-51....Saukees shot 7-17 from the freethrow line and 2-11 from 3pt. IMO they should have won this one by 10.

Thats a surprise, but not a shocker. However, I wouldn't get too excited. Canton stands alone as the best team I have covered all season by far (granted I haven't gotten to see QND yet) I have yet to see a team in our area that could beat Canton.
Trust me, on a good night the Little Giants are a big, big favorite over every team around here other than QND and QHS.

Huh? I believe you are mistaken. I've never seen a Canton girls game lol. Not sure what that would have to do with this either way.

I have a question. Is Canton still projected to stay in 2A or are they on the line and could be pushed back up to 3A? I thought I read somewhere they were a bubble team and looking to go back up to 3A.

My bad then...with the new board I didn't remember all the names from the khqa board. The point WOULD have been about all the hype that the Canton girls got last year about their strength of schedule and how much better they were than any area 2A teams after playing pretty much a 3A schedule all year and then they don't get out of their regional, (and then apply that to the Canton boys this year) but since it wasn't you....never mind!
