on a fine finish to the season. Ended in 38th place in state, 30 seconds out of the top 10. Great end of the season for a Soph.

Luke and many of the guys are already biting at the reins to get going in the local road races and to try their luck in AAU and USATF meets. 15:51! First Raider to ever break the 16:00 barrier for 3 miles. Was a great end of season for any year. Ran his best two races of the season when it counted - Sectionals and State! Made his coach pay up on a deal and got a 20oz steak dinner after state!!

Just completed our team banquet. 24 of the 25 runners on this team could possibly return next season. Throw in a good incoming Freshman group and several others currently roaming the halls with no other fall sport in mind and I think the prospects for next season are looking pretty bright. I understand there is a group of current FR girls who are planning to come out next season as well as a couple current SO girls. It would be great to get back to some stronger numbers on the girl's side. The girls also have a strong nucleus to build around so they could be back in the hunt next season!
