The Quincy University men's basketball team moved up six
spots in the latest NABC Coaches Poll to #16 this week, spurred on by a
pair of conference road wins last week.
The Hawks are currently 13-0 on the season and 4-0 in the Great Lakes
Valley Conference and picked up road wins over the University of
Indianapolis and Northern Kentucky University last week to move up six
spots in the poll. Quincy already holds the school record for most wins
to open a season, breaking the previous mark of 10 set in the 1988-89
season. They are currently closing in on the program's longest winning
streak which is 15 games during the 1981-82 season.
Quincy is one of four GLVC schools in the national poll, joining #8
Southern Indiana, #13 Kentucky Wesleyan and #18 Drury.
