Kathleen Hinkle scored a Knox County field goal with 38 seconds to play in the game, helping the Lady Eagles (6-4, 2-0) to a 47-43 Tri-Rivers Conference win over Clark County. The game was a two to four point donnybrook most of the second half, Knox County led by as many as seven points early in the game.

Knox County led by four points with 2:41 to play in the game. Briana Alderton knotted the contest at 43 with a hook shot at the 55 second mark. Lorrie Peters sank two free throws with 31 seconds to play in the game, sealing the home team's second conference victory without a defeat.

The Lady Eagles had five players score seven or more points. Katie Ausmus, Lorrie Peters and Becca Mallett were in double figures with ten points each. Brooke Wheeler and Cady Flood shared game scoring honors with 12 Lady Indian points each. Clark County fell to 2-4 on the season, 0-1 in the conference. Knox County beat the Lady Indians for the first time since 1999.

The Eagle boys grabbed a six point lead out of the chute. Clark County (4-2,, 1-0) got a 21 point night and solid interior defense from Justin Oilar. Clark County played well in the second half and handed the Eagles a 61-55 loss. Knox County (5-4, 1-1) battled back from a 13 point deficit with 3:11 to play in the game. The Eagles pulled within three points of Clark County but could get no closer.

Dakota Armstrong fired in 19 Indian points. Keenan Gillaspy tossed in a game high 22 Eagle points. Lance McMahon was in double figures with 15 points. McMahon sank three of the Eagles' nine home run balls in the fourth quarter. Knox County turned the ball over 18 times. Untimely Eagle turnovers and Clark County finishing plays in the second half were a key factor determining the outcome.

Justin Oilar scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half.
