Since we've already started talking about IW for next fall, how about a thread where we discuss next year's WCC? Now, I won't make predictions on individual games--it is too early for that!--but I do have next fall's WH schedule. Would appreciate if others have a copy of their favorite team's as well.

WH Titans 2O11

SAT, 8/27 at Sherrard
SAT, 9/3 home Orion
FRI, 9/9 home Macomb
FRI, 9/16 at PGP
FRI, 9/23 at Mon/Rose
FRI, 9/3O home CSE
FRI, 1O/7 at IW
FRI, 1O/14 at Rockridge
SAT 1O/22 home Mendota

Mendota is the only new team WH will play. Princeton and Hall are also new members of the conference, but obviously WH did not draw them as an opponent in any crossover games. Based on how the schedule plays out, I would assume that game with CSE is homecoming but not totally sure on that.

So since IW is the super power and will probably remain unbeaten next year in this even larger (sort of) super-conference.. they play 7 games on the road including trips to Mendota, Princeton, Hall, Orion, and Sherrard correct? ;)

Kidding

The addition of Spring Valley and Mendota is pretty beneficial to the overall view of the conference I'd think. They are annually decent programs with playoff berths. Not fun places to get to but good teams to play nonetheless. CSE better be careful or they won't remain #2 in this set up for long. Tough for the weaker half of the conf though... I mean this schedule of WH's isn't cutting them any slack for a few off years...

I would love it if Schwab or mrillinois could get his hands on an IW schedule since we have spent a few posts talking about reasonable expectations for IW football...;)

Well we know that IW will play at home against PGP, CSE, WH, Macomb, and at M/R becuase of last years schedule, but I don't know who they will play from the other division. At this point I don't know what to expect next year, we lose 20 or 21 starters from this years team, but I have faith in Unruh will reload and once again IW will be a solid team. The long trips to any of the teams in the other divison won't be fun, but at least they are going to be Saturday games(or at least you would think so). I think that the WCC will be a very tough conference, and I don't think ANY team will come out undefeated. Looking at the teams, I believe IW, PGP, CSE, and Macomb are all going to be very good, this division reminds me of the WIVC North since there are 4 good teams. One thing is for sure, it's going to be brutal week in and week out.

Not 100% sure, but I believe this is accurate for CSE.

Friday 8/26 7:00PM vs. Hall High School
Saturday 9/3 1:00PM @ Princeton High School
Friday 9/9 7:00PM @ Pittsfield High School
Friday 9/16 7:00PM vs. Illini West
Friday 9/23 7:00PM vs. Macomb Jr/Sr High School (Homecoming)
Friday 9/30 7:00PM @ West Hancock
Friday 10/7 7:00PM vs. Monmouth-Roseville High School
Saturday 10/15 1:00PM @ Mendota HS
Saturday 10/22 1:00PM vs. Orion High School

If this is correct, CSE gains Mendota, Princeton, and Hall while losing Pecatonica, Sherrard, and Rock Ridge.

Would they really get IW and Macomb at home again this year?

Possibly, for some reason the addition of the new teams has created some odd situations where schools may be going to a place two years in a row. In the WH schedule I posted, it will be the second year in a row the Titans have to travel to Pittsfield and M/R.

Kind of sucks for the teams that have to travel to the same place again, not as funky of a schedule that I had in my senior year with the Tuesday/Saturday games, those sucked a lot.
