I don't know much about Pana, but I do know they have a decent conference and their PF-PA spread is 281-49 which is pretty darn good. I have seen some good things from Macomb, but also some bad things. Macomb without Jackson is a huge loss, but I still have a feeling and hope that Macomb will find a way to win.

Pana wins 28-7. The Jackson injury really hurt Macomb.

Has to be disappointing for Macomb. Based on the reports coming from them in preseason, I think they were expecting a lot more than 6-4 and a first round loss this season. Obviously, injuries played a part, though.

Injuries have haunted a number of teams in our area this year..

Mad the trip to Pana Friday night, and what started out to be a defensive struggle ended up being a much farther apart game than 28-7. Without Jackson, the Bombers became very one sided, they couldn't run the ball all night(except for the 50 yard TD by their QB because nobody was open). If Jackson was healthy, Macomb very easily could have won the ball game. But congrats to Coach Sears and the Bombers on a good year.
