Sparta Football Coach Killed

Phillip Watson, Sparta's head football coach was killed Monday in a train accident. Phil was a graduate of Culver-Stockton in the early 80's. He lived in the Pittsfield area for a while after he graduated from Culver. Prayers for the family.

Very sad story. I just don't understand what kind of personal problems would cause this to happen, especially for such a well-known football coach. My condolences are sent out to the family and community.

Saw this on IHSS and it's a heartbreaking story. Started the Wesclin program from the ground up. An impressive man I would assume..
